LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – U.S. Congressman Mike Flood expressed his condolences following the tragic news of the passing of Ross Bartlett, a police officer for the Village of Ceresco. Bartlett lost his life in an accident on the previous night.
Flood highlighted Bartlett's dedication to his service, stating, “Ross’ service in law enforcement took him to multiple communities in our state, including Madison, where I personally worked with him and respected him. In addition to his career as a peace officer, he loved being a volunteer fireman and had a great sense of humor." Flood also extended his sympathy, saying, "Mandi and I are keeping the Bartlett family and law enforcement community in our thoughts and prayers as we grieve his passing and this devastating loss.”
The Congressman's heartfelt words reflect the deep impact of Bartlett's contributions within the law enforcement and firefighting communities. The loss of Officer Bartlett is mourned not only by his loved ones but also by his colleagues and the wider community he served.
Our thoughts are with the Bartlett family, friends, and all those affected by this tragic loss during this difficult time.
