WASHINGTON, D.C.–U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued an alert reminding interested Nebraska high schoolers the 2024 Congressional Art Competition deadline is March 29, 2024.

"This is a great opportunity for Nebraska’s high school-aged artists to put their skills to work and help us highlight the great talent growing right here in Nebraska,” said Rep. Flood. “I encourage high school students to participate in the art competition, and to submit their work within the next few weeks.”

The nationwide competition, which has been running since 1982, offers high school students the chance to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol. One student from every congressional district will be selected to showcase their talent among other winners from across the country.

Interested participants can find complete details about the competition on the official website. High school artists from Nebraska are encouraged to seize this opportunity and showcase their artistic skills on a national platform. The deadline for submissions is March 29, 2024.
