The City of Beatrice is under contract with Myers Construction, Inc. to complete a large water main replacement
project in the downtown. The project area includes:
4th Street, from Bell to Grant Street Court Street, from 4th to Hayes Street; and Market Street, from 3rd to 6th Street
The contractor is in the early construction phase of work along 4th Street. During the project, they will open holes
at both ends of the block and at the location of each customer service line.
Construction may require the closure of streets and sidewalks in the work area. Water services will be shut off as
they are connected to the new water main. You can receive notifications about this project by opting-in to the
