The Homestead Trail Extension project proposes to connect the City of Beatrice’s
trail system from Riverside Park to the Homestead National Historical Park along
Highway 4, west of Beatrice. A project area map can be found in the comments below.
The public is invited to attend an open house public meeting regarding the project on
Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the City Auditorium (205 N. 4th Street).
Community members will have a chance to provide input on the project. No formal presentations
are planned; community members can stop by the meeting as their schedules allow during the posted meeting time.
