The Public Safety Dispatcher is considered the first, first responder of the emergency response team. These professionals, are required to gather essential information from citizens, and take control of situations that may be chaotic, tragic, stressful, confusing, and frantic in order to dispatch the appropriate first responders to the scene.
Testing will be conducted Tuesday, March 21 at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 22 at 6 p.m. and Thursday, March 23 at 1:30 p.m. Check-in will be at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and at 1 p.m. on Thursday. (You may only test ONE TIME during this recruitment period.) All testing will be held at the Lincoln Police Department's Southeast Police Station, 6601 Pine Lake Road, Lincoln, NE 68516
