The Peru State women's bowling team finished 21st in the Leatherneck Classic over the weekend. They finished with 7971 total pins and competed against NCAA opponents such as Division I powerhouse Wichita State.
The Bobcats beat teams such as Kansas State, Kansas, Iowa State, Illinois State and a few more from NCAA divisions.
The JV team finished in tenth place with a total of 7177 pins.

Makenzie Millard (Topeka, Kan.) finished in 28th place with games of 241, 193, 171, 163, 202 and 182 for a total of 1152 pins and an average of 192.
Casey Feast (Haysville, Kan.) finished in 74th place with games of 147, 171, 184, 188, 181 and 190 for a total of 1061 pins and an average of 176.83.
Renee Gausmann (Lincoln) finished in 90th place with games of 182, 145, 183, 159, 167 and 193 for a total of 1029 and an average of 171.5.
Adria Huiett (Hutchinson, Kan.) finished in 92nd place with games of 193, 129, 193, 202, 161 and 143 for a total of 1021 and an average of 170.16.
McKinley Cross (Buhler, Kan.) finished in 131st place with games of 157, 157, 139, 142, 197 and 162 for a total of 954 pins and an average of 159.
Caitlynn Gronenthal (Leigh) finished in 150th place with games of 138, 187, 157, 117, 168 and 137 for a total of 904 pins and an average of 150.667.
RaeLynn Sugden (Seward) finished in 172nd place with games of 155, 137, 146, 118, 144 and 142 for a total of 842 pins and an average of 140.33.
Kaitlyn Doyal (Topeka, Kan.) finished in 176th place with games of 175, 150, 165, 181 and 160 for a total of 831 pins and an average of 166.2.
Kassidy Habermann (Sioux Falls, S.D.) finished in 177th place with games of 137, 201, 181, 155 and 155 for a total of 829 and an average of 165.8.
Mindy Bartels (Lincoln) finished in 211th place with games of 213, 171, 145 and 160 for a total of 689 and an average of 172.25.
Aleia Crandall (Lincoln) finished in 216th place with games of 159, 159, 153 and 176 for a total of 647 pins and an average of 161.75.
The women's bowling team heads to St. Charles, Mo., this weekend for Clash of the Spartans hosted by Missouri Baptist.
