Friendly reminder that the 2022 Beatrice Garden Produce Rescue is in full swing for this growing season. If you, or someone you know, has cucumbers coming out their ears, consider DONATING them to a good cause.
Extra produce can be dropped off all season long at our office on the Gage County Fairgrounds, the Beatrice Mary Family YMCA, or the Beatrice Public Library during each business's hours of operation.
From there, we get it where it is most needed in the Beatrice area. Last year over 4400 pounds were rescued from the landfill and put to good use. Let's see how much this season brings!
