Employee Spotlight Meet Heidi Hornbeak: Registered Nurse
Heidi is a native of Filley, Nebraska. She attended Filley High School and graduated in 1996. Heidi resides in Beatrice with her four children, Cyrus (22), Kieran (21), Makayla (18), and Case (4). When Heidi is not working, you can find her outside spending time with her family.
Heidi graduated in 2013 from Southeast Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse and then began her career with Johnson County Hospital. She continued her education and received her degree as a Registered Nurse in 2017. Heidi says one of the best parts of her job is the variety of nursing skills she gets to use and she very much enjoys the patients and the staff. One of the biggest changes Heidi has witnessed at JCH is the physical remodeling that has occurred.
Heidi is involved in her community by volunteering as a coach for her son, Case's T-ball team in the summer. She helps out at her child's school when needed and is also a blood donor with the American Red Cross. ICH would like to thank Heidi and all of our staff for the wonderful ways they give back to their communities!
