We are proud to announce the Plattsmouth Police Department has recently created a new K9 program. It’s our pleasure to introduce Officer Alex Drake as our new K9 handler who has been partnered up with Ares, a one and a half year old Belgian Malinois. The both of them will begin training together soon helping bring a valuable resource in our mission to protect the Plattsmouth community.
We are so thankful for the support from so many community partners including Theadore Hubbard, Mark Kula (Guardian Shield 13, LLC), Doug Reynoldson, Copple Cars Plattsmouth, Jerome & Mary Reinholt, American Legion Post #56, and the Animal Hospital in Nebraska City, whose financial support has been crucial in helping launch this new service to our community.
