On Sunday, April 17, the NCAA DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCO All-Midlands Teams were announced by the Omaha World-Herald. Three Peru State women's basketball players were named to All-Midlands Honorable Mention Team. Maddy Duncan (Hamburg, Iowa), Hailey Ingram (Omaha) and Samantha Stewart (Mount Ayr, Iowa) were all selected.
Guard Mak Hatcliff of Doane was named the team captain for the DIII/NAIA All-Midlands First Team. Guard Alyssa Marsh-Contreras of College Saint Mary, guard Taysha Rushton of Concordia, guard Peyton Winger of Midland and center Elexis Martinez of Bellevue rounded out the First Team selections.
Duncan had 13.1 ppg and 2.8 rebounds per game last season while shooting 36.6% from the field and 35.7% from three.
Ingram had 11.7 ppg and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 36% from the field and 31.5% from deep.
Stewart had 11.8 ppg and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 43.2% from the field. She also had 62 steals on the season.
Gene Schinzel of the Omaha World-Herald made all the selections for the All-Midlands NCAA DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCO selections.
