72 percent of applicants to Nebraska Wesleyan University were admitted for fall 2018

At Nebraska Wesleyan University, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Lincoln enrolled 2,095 students in fall 2018, including 1,851 in undergraduate and 244 in graduate programs, data shows. 5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of Nebraska, and 14 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 72 percent of the 2,178 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
