50 percent of applicants to York College were admitted for fall 2018

At York College, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in York enrolled 440 students in fall 2018, including 400 in undergraduate and 40 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

26 percent of undergraduates are residents of Nebraska, and 65 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (57 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (17 percent).

The school admitted 50 percent of the 449 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 48 percent enrolled.
