96 percent of applicants to Union College were admitted for fall 2018

At Union College, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Lincoln enrolled 807 students in fall 2018, including 720 in undergraduate and 87 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

12 percent of undergraduates are residents of Nebraska, and 82 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (50 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (22 percent).

The school admitted 96 percent of the 686 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 24 percent enrolled.
