Rep. Mike Flood, who represents Nebraska’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his activities via social media, highlighting engagement with veterans, financial innovation leaders, and workforce development in Nebraska.

On August 28, 2025, Flood posted about participating in a roundtable discussion focused on veterans’ care in Sarpy County: “Joined a Veterans Roundtable in Sarpy County to discuss the many successes in delivering quality care to our veterans.

Flood has represented Nebraska’s 1st District since winning election in 2022 after previously serving from 2007 to 2013 in the Nebraska State Legislature. He was born in Omaha in 1975 and resides in Norfolk. Flood holds degrees from both the University of Notre Dame (BA) and University of Nebraska-Lincoln (JD).
