Rep. Mike Flood, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 1st district, has recently highlighted legislative initiatives and policy discussions in a series of social media posts.

Flood has represented Nebraska’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Jeff Fortenberry in 2022. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975 and currently residing in Norfolk at age 48, Flood holds degrees from both the University of Notre Dame (BA) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (JD).
