The Nebraska beach volleyball team won two matches on March 14 in Leesburg, Florida. The Huskers improved their record to 13-2 after defeating Palm Beach State with a score of 3-2 and Lake-Sumter State College by 4-1.
These victories are significant as they continue the team’s strong performance this season. Three Husker pairs—Bergen Reilly and Teraya Sigler, Andi Jackson and Harper Murray, and Olivia Mauch and Manaia Ogbechie—won both of their matches on Saturday. In the match against Lake-Sumter State College, Keri Leimbach and Jayden Robinson also contributed a point for Nebraska.
The team is scheduled to play again on Sunday at UMR Sports Complex in Bradenton, Florida. They will face State College of Florida at 11 a.m. Central Time and St. Johns River State at 1 p.m. Central Time.
These results reflect the ongoing efforts of the Nebraska beach volleyball program as it continues its season with a series of matches in Florida.
