Rep. Mike Flood has announced that the upcoming Flyover Fintech Conference in Lincoln will feature a panel on non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The event is scheduled for September 23, 2025, and will include speakers from Phantom Technologies and the Solana Policy Institute.

“Non-fungible tokens, also known as NFTs, are an emerging part of the new digital economy,” said Congressman Flood. “Whether you’ve never heard of NFTs or have started to use them personally or in the business world, this panel will deliver key insights about how this tool will shape our future. With under three weeks to go, I encourage anyone interested in joining the conversation to register for Flyover Fintech today.”

Kevin Jacobs, General Counsel at Phantom Technologies, Inc., oversees legal and policy matters at the company. Phantom’s main product is a self-custody crypto wallet with more than 15 million monthly users. Before joining Phantom, Jacobs worked at Robinhood as product and regulatory counsel and previously practiced law at a global firm and an investment bank.

Colin McLaren serves as Engagement Director at the Solana Policy Institute where he supports educational initiatives within the Solana ecosystem. He is also involved with organizations focused on American innovation policy and has experience working on political campaigns including those for Biden, Harris, and Bloomberg.

Photos of the panelists are available online.

The Flyover Fintech conferences present speakers from both Congress—such as members of the House Financial Services Committee—and leaders in financial technology.

Congressman Flood has previously confirmed that Bryan Steil, chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence, will address this year’s conference. Additional panels include topics like bank-fintech partnerships and artificial intelligence in banking. More speaker announcements are expected soon.

Details about registration and logistics can be found at www.flyoverfintech.com. Registration is open until September 16.

Mike Flood represents Nebraska’s 1st district in Congress after succeeding Jeff Fortenberry in 2022. He previously served in Nebraska’s state legislature from 2007 to 2013 and holds degrees from Notre Dame (BA) and University of Nebraska-Lincoln (JD).
