Rep. Adrian Smith, who represents Nebraska’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted several updates on his social media account, addressing both personal greetings and official business.
On April 5, Smith shared an Easter message to his followers: “From my family to yours, happy Easter! May the renewal of life bring you blessings of hope, peace, good health, and happiness.”
Later that day, he announced constituent services for Lincoln County: “My staff will be hosting a mobile office hour tomorrow, April 6th, for constituents in Lincoln County. If you have thoughts to share or need assistance with a federal agency, please stop by to see how my office can help!”
On April 7, Smith provided an update on his recent engagement with community leaders and agricultural producers: “I had a wonderful time meeting with local leaders and ag producers in Cambridge. During my visit, we discussed my latest efforts to secure nationwide, year-round E15 and how we can work together to address ongoing workforce challenges.”
Smith has represented Nebraska’s 3rd District since 2007 after replacing Tom Osborne. He previously served in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007. Born in Scottsbluff in 1970 and now residing in Gering at age 52, Smith is also a graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in 1993.
