Congressman Flood: Office Returned $3.3 Million from Federal Agencies to First District Constituents

U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced his office's success in returning over $3.3 million owed by federal agencies to constituents in Nebraska's First District since 2022. Speaking about his team's efforts, Rep. Flood stated, "Constituents contact my office every day needing assistance... My team works as diligently as possible to make sure Nebraskans get what they are due, and I am very proud of what they have accomplished."

The money returned to constituents came from various agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration. The types of resources returned covered a wide range, such as retirement money, back pay, federal tax credits, tax returns, veterans' benefits, Social Security benefits, and other categories.

Rep. Flood's District office is equipped to assist with issues related to several agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Defense Finance Accounting Service, Department of Education, Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, and more.
