Congressman Flood to Host Bellevue Chief of Police for State of the Union

U.S. Congressman Mike Flood has announced that he will host Bellevue Police Chief Ken Clary as his guest for President Biden's annual State of the Union address on March 7, 2024, in Washington, D.C. Congressman Flood expressed his pride in hosting Chief Clary, stating, "I'm proud to host Bellevue’s Chief of Police Ken Clary at the State of the Union. Under his leadership, Bellevue’s police department has been pursuing innovative strategies to recruit and retain the next generation of law enforcement officers."

Chief Ken Clary, who was appointed as the Police Chief in Bellevue, Nebraska, in September 2020, has an impressive background in law enforcement. Congressman Flood highlighted Chief Clary's achievements, mentioning that he has been involved in developing national programs and initiatives, including working on updating Data Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety, creating the National Law Enforcement Roadway Safety Program, and playing a role in the 30x30 Initiative.

President Biden is expected to deliver his State of the Union address on the evening of March 7th, where Chief Ken Clary will be in attendance as a guest of Congressman Mike Flood.
